The ’78 started life as a PAF rewind for a scrappy young player that all of us owe some thanks to.
The recipe for the pickup itself is traditional, but the special coil wind with 42 gauge plain enamel wire, hand-calibrated Alnico 2 magnet, and strict output tolerance makes sure that each one sounds like the original.
