This dreadnought features high-quality tonewoods such as a solid AAA spruce top with scalloped red spruce bracing and solid rosewood sides and back. The natural finish and nitrocellulose lacquer combine to make a stunning looking guitar as well as a brilliantly resonant body. The mahogany neck features a bound ebony fretboard with a 12" radius and natural mother of pearl and abalone inlays. The nut width is 1.69". Other fine appointments on this D-55 include gold hardware, an ebony bridge, abalone rosette, Gotoh 700 series open back tuners, bone saddle and nut and a tortoise shell pickguard. This D-55E comes with a premium hard shell case.The LR Baggs Anthem pickup system is crystal clear and transparent.
