New GHS 3060-5 Tapewound 5-String Bass Guitar Strings, Black Nylon, (50-130)

Tapewound bass strings combine the thump and decay of an upright bass string, while retaining the characteristics of an electric bass string. Wound for GHS by the artisans behind Innovation Double Bass Strings, these are flatwound strings with a black nylon final wrap. The result is an ultra-smooth feel with a delightfully deep, mellow tone.

Please Note: Due to the construction process, GHS does not recommend using our tapewound strings on a thru-body bridge. Doing so can expose the final nylon cover to sharp edges, causing it to tear and unravel.
