The TUX compressor is specially engineered for dynamic sound modification. It uses a passive, sound transparent optical system designed not to alter the original sound and making it virtually noiseless. Tux operates in two different switch selectable modes:SOLID - clean, pure sound, very dynamic with a distinctive punch
TUBE - compression characteristic for tube design. This option gives a harder compression and warmer sound.Taurus Tux MK-2 effect controls dynamics of the instrument. It is built based on transparent and passive optical system. That means there are no side effects to the sound. Tux allows modification of dynamic by two main features: limiter or compressor. It is built based on transparent and passive for the quality of sound optical components. That means there are no side effects to the sound. There are two options of the sound, that can be chosen with CHARACTER switch: SOLID– clean and pure, with no colouring. Very dynamic with characteristic PUNCH TUBE- classic tube sound. This option allows compression and a little dirt of sound.
