Here's some hard truth for you.  You don't need a treble booster.  The world is jam packed with treble.

You could probably use a dark boost, though.  It has a good amount of volume boost, and some grit to boot!

It's handy to turn a bright icepick guitar into a mellow machine, or smoothing out a bass rig.  Or just blasting a tube amp like the good old days.
